CANDLESTICK BUNNIES

Wooden Candlestick Bunnies

Items you'll need to finish this kit...
-paintbrush
-brown paint for accent marks
-small hammer to tack down the ears

First - paint all your candlesticks and eggs white.

Second - add brown paint into the grooves and where ever to give them an "old-ish" look.

Third - cut out your ears and attach them to the top of your egg with a small nail. *Tip... if you pinch the fabric together, it will help give the ears some shape.
Fourth - Tie some fabric around the candlestick.
Fifth - Add some eyes, maybe a nose and mouth. It's up to you! You're all done! So cute!
**Thanks to the fun girls at Wood You Like to Craft for this cute idea!

Love is all You Need - January Craft Kit

Here are some instructions for the "Love is all You Need" craft project...

First, line your 2x4's together. (I glued mine together with some wood glue and let it dry, but this is optional... you can just keep your wood as separate pieces).

Apply your vinyl to the boards. Make sure all the edges are sealed to the wood.

Paint your wood. I wanted a really worn look, so I liked to see the paint strokes. If you don't, just do a few coats.

Let the paint dry a little, and peal off the vinyl.

If you look close on mine... you can see some of the paint ran under the vinyl (especially where the creases are in the wood). I think it adds to my worn look, so I loved it!
Then sand your entire project.
This was a really fun and easy project with great results!! I love it, and hope you do too! Enjoy!
I found my inspiration for this project here... http://woodyouliketocraft.blogspot.com/
